The Rat...

In the year 2032, a science lab in the United States of America had an experiment on cross-species genetics. At first, the experiment started by examining the DNA of multiple reptiles and mammals and was tested on rats. Targeting the rats that were weak and unhealthy. The DNA sample failed on the first few tries. But the sample of a Gila gave the rat an ignominious strength. The rat started to tackle the glass walls with all its might. The rat was kept in the examination room. A few months pass by, and a group of high school kids was taken to the same science lab. All the kids were excited about the machines in the lab. Well, one kid from the school group was attracted by the lizards in one corner of the lab, the entrance to the room read- “No Entry”, but the boy ignored the sign. He went into the room and started looking at all the different species of lizards. Soon his attention was taken by a little noise from one corner of the room. He slowly went to take a peek at what was going on over there. He heard the noise coming from a small box covered with a cloth. He takes the cloth off and finds a cute little rat in the box, he takes the rat out of the box and pets it. The rat bites him on his finger and the boy drops it down. The rat goes running out of the room. The boy rushes to one of the employees of the science lab and asks for help. The employee secretly takes the boy to a place that was used for human tests in the lab and locks him up in one of those cells. A few hours passed by, its night, and all the scientists were called to have a look at the behavior of a human when infected by the Gila’s DNA. The boy’s nose started to bleed and his body started to crack. A few seconds later he got up and started behaving like a dangerous half-dead creature and started to hit to glass walls hard by his head. He dies after a few unsuccessful tries. The scientists started to create more samples of the virus and began human experiments with it. This time they kept them in a one-way glass wall so that only the people on the outside of the cells could see the inside but people from the inside couldn't see anything. After injecting the virus, the humans were kept in those cells. All of their noses started to bleed and body started to crack but none of them hit the wall. Now scientists removed the wall between the cells. The humans inside the cells did not care about the infected humans, all they wanted was to bite the uninfected humans and turn them into zombies too.
